Ingredients
Servings: People
Instructions
  1. Pre-heat oven to 350°F. Grease an 8” x 8” baking dish and set aside.
  2. Mix oats, flour, salt and sugar. Cut in butter with two knives until crumbly (pastry cutter does not work well with the oats).
  3. Put half the oat mixture in the greased baking dish.
  4. Cover the mixture with cranberry sauce by spoonfuls. Cut or mash the jelly so you can easily spread it out – but do this gently so as not to disturb the bottom layer.
  5. Top with remaining half of the crumb mixture and smooth top.
  6. Bake at 350°F for 45 minutes. Remove from oven and cut while warm.
  7. Serve warm with ice cream on top of each serving.
Note:
  1. The oats make using a pastry cutter more difficult when cutting the butter into the oats and sugar. Using two knives allows you to create the crumbly mixture you need.
