Ingredients
- 2 pounds Beef ground beef or turkey
- 2 Onions small onions, diced
- 1 Red Bell Pepper chopped
- 4 clove Garlic chopped
- 1 can Tomato Paste
- 1 1/2 Tbsp. Cumin
- 1 Tbsp. Paprika
- 2 Bay leaves
- 1 tsp. turmeric
- 1 tsp. Chili powder
- 1 tsp. Cayenne omit if you don’t like spicy chili
- salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
- 1 can Tomatoes 28oz can chopped tomatoes
- 1 can Tomatoes 28oz can crushed tomatoes
- 3 cup Black beans cooked black beans or 2 15oz cans
- 1-2 cup Beef Broth gluten-free, of course! or use water
- dash sweetener optional

Instructions
- Heat a large heavy bottom pot, add ground beef.
- After beef starts to brown, add onions, pepper, and garlic. Sauté about 5 minutes.
- Stir in tomato paste and spices. Combine well.
- Add 1 cup of the water/broth, scraping up any bits from the pan.
- simmer for at least one hour. Adjust seasoning and serve.
