The Hubby has the friend from college who loves hot food. I mean in a not really normal kind of way. Honestly, we were at dinner at a Thai place with him a few years ago and the man put so much extra heat onto his food that he was sweating bullets– and loving it. The waiter brought him this huge stack of napkins and he just kept sopping his forehead and neck– and eating the heat. (Did ya’ll just hear my grandmother roll over in her grave? Sweaty napkins at the table, well, I never!) So said friend is in hubby’s band and when they practice here I feed them. This is my sauce for Al. Serve with napkin stacks if you heat it up.
Ingredients
- 1/4 Cup Avocado Oil
- 1/2 Cup Brown mustard Be sure it's Gluten Free
- 1/4 Tsp Liquid smoke Wright's is Gluten Free-- Check others
- 1-2 Tsp Dark Molasses Adjust to taste- but it makes it layery so don't omit
- 1 Tsp Cumin
- 1 TBSP Bragg's Liquid Aminos
- 1 Tsp Chipotle chili powder Gluten Free
- 1 TBSP Minced garlic
- 1/8 -2 Tsp Frank's Hot Sauce Gluten Free- Adjust to heat desired
- 1 TBSP Minced Jalepeno ** Optional** Adjust to heat desired
- 1 Dash Hot Pepper Flakes For Garnish

Instructions
- Whisk the oil and mustard together well.
- Add Molasses, Liquid Smoke, Cumin, Chipotle Chili Powder, Liquid Aminos, Garlic. Blend very well.
- Thoroughly blend in Frank's Hot Sauce. Start with a few shakes and keep adding until you have the base heat you desire. Leave room for jalapeno heat if you like it scorching!
- Either add jalapeno or serve it on the side for heat additions. Optional: Garnish with Hot Pepper Flakes .
